      Supply Chain: Adhesive Tapes

Silicone Release Paper (Re-LinerTM) uses in the adhesive tapes supply chain

Pressure-sensitive tape is typically constructed using a carrier or a silicone adhesive on one side. The single-sided tape is supplied on a silicone release liner, or it is self-wound.

Pressure-sensitive tape that is coated with adhesive on both sides. It is designed to stick two surfaces together and utilises a release liner to prevent the adhesives from sticking together.

Also known as application tape, is a paper or plastic release film that can be placed on the top of a sticker or piece of vinyl to make the sticker easier to apply.

Release Liners are used as separator interleaves between rolls of adhesive tape, which prevents them from sticking together during packing and transportation.

Embracing Sustainability in the Adhesive Tape Industry

Sustainability now encompasses not only adhesive materials, but every part of the adhesive tape manufacturing and conversion process from reduction of set-up waste to more energy-efficient systems, to handling of adhesive waste and release liners.

The goal for the adhesive industries, with regard to reaching net zero, is to achieve carbon neutrality in their operations and supply chains.

If you are involved in the adhesive tape sector and use silicone release papers, then Re-LinerTM can assist you in decarbonising your products and fulfilling your journey toward net zero.
