Techlan is delighted to announce that it will be speaking at the forthcoming Composites UK event – A Circular Economy for the Composites Industry.
The event will highlight opportunities, developments and research in relation to Circular Economy within the Composites industry.
Retaining the economic value and embedded energy of materials in the economy as long as possible, is the essence of circular economy thinking.
Techlan was created in 2009 with this vision in mind for discarded silicone release paper.
Release paper is an expensive commodity to manufacture and one that consumes vast amounts of natural resources in its manufacturing process.
In contrast to this the Techlan recycling process is highly efficient, uses very little consumables and energy in its cleaning process.
The release paper is not destroyed, we simply clean it.
Our end product is a 100% recycled silicone release paper that exhibits virgin characteristics.
Techlan will be providing details on its highly innovative recycling process and the benefits of recycled silicone release paper to the composites industry and wider market as a whole.
Techlan is already working with a number of Composite UK members that use Techlans 100% recycled silicone release paper within their processes.
It is a privilege to have been asked to speak at this event and look forward to meeting everyone involved.
The event will be held on Thursday, 7th July at ELG Carbon Fibre.
