Techlan is featured in recent research carried out in Belgium

SIRRIS is a Belgian non profit organisation that helps companies to attain their objectives by focusing on their markets and technologies.

SLC-Laboratories Is a joint initiative by Sirris, KU Leuven and UGent. It’s mission is to provide industry with tangible solutions to innovate with composites.

SLC-Laboratory and experts in sustainability at Sirris are publishing a series of white papers in which all issues surrounding composites will be discussed.

Techlan is pleased to announce that it is featured in their first white paper

WP1: Composites as a sustainable solution

The first white paper looks at composites within the scope of the emerging circular economy that endeavours to fit material cycles into the various biological and technological cycles, thereby keeping the value of the raw materials as high as possible and being able to use them for as long as possible.

This white paper has identified Techlan as an organisation that makes an innovative contribution to the circular economy in the composites sector.

Another UK company, ELG Carbon Ltd is also featured in the article.

Not only are they a Techlan customer for its reuse release paper but they hosted a recent conference on the Circular Economy that was organised by the Composites UK Association.
